Best in Show

Yesterday I found a large horse ribbon at the Fremont Market.
I've wanted a ribbon for awhile and this one was a nice size and had pretty colors.
I'm not really a horse girl so I changed it to a bird ribbon. At Joyworks we always carry so many bird items that we should win a prize.

After looking closely at how it was made I thought that I would give it a try.

I found some ribbon, cut and slightly folded strips, stapled them onto a round piece of cardboard and covered the middle. My ribbon supply at home is getting low so I could only go around once but I plan on creating more for the store and making them more fancy.

This year I have one beautiful rose in a planter on my deck. I decided that it deserved a ribbon...it's my Best in Show for just showing up...

That looks great! I have been nuts for these ribbons and what you did made it so much better. Smart girl. Lulu

Hey Jana - local dealer Debi Burton (http://Ormolulu.blogspot.com) had a bunch of those award ribbons at the Farm Chicks & Funky Junk Sisters shows. She may still have some left!

I prefer the bird ribbon to the horse one! Very pretty.
