Junk Swap Party

Tonight Annie from Annie's on First hosted our Junk Swap Party.
Everybody brings two pieces of good junk and we put it all on a large table. We then draw numbers and everyone goes in numerical order to pick out a treasure from the table. After the first round we draw numbers again and return to the table always hoping that your second favorite item is still there.
I got a lovely frame but was hoping to get this cool Parfume can...so cute!

Junk Swappers...
It's always fun visiting and laughing with everyone and sharing all our junking stories and crafting and decorating tips.

Junk Table...

Tonight it was especially fun to tour Annie's wonderfully decorated home. She has a fun collection of antiques and it is all displayed so beautifully in vintage style.

Thank you Annie...you inspired us all!

  2. What a great idea -- and so much fun! I'm so envious!

Jana, you took some great photos of Annie's home. Always so interesting to see how someone decorates their own home -- not just their store.

    Thanks for sharing!

  4. That was SOOOOOOO much fun last night and Annie's house was over the top fantastic! Like Mary said, I could SO just move in!!

What a fun group of women too! I enjoyed getting to know some of those I didn't know well a bit more!

And the food and desserts? Come on! Annie set the "bar high" for the rest of us for future swaps! (Ps,,,,don't tell her about the cherub I shoved in my purse!)

Just kidding but come on! I know you were thinking of a couple treasures or vignettes you would have like to have snagged too!!!

    Too fun!
