Today I simply added a sheet of animal print wrapping paper to my tablescape to create a new look.

Yesterday while we were cleaning at Joyworks we came across this box full of quilt squares all in vintage fabric. We had so much fun digging in the box pulling out one cute square after another.

I painted stencils green and attached the fabric squares behind making cute letters.

Patchwork is quite trending this year so I made necklaces to match some of the new summer tops and dresses we will be getting in soon...
We are calling it Hippie Chic!!

Pussy Willows

Every year we wait patiently for bunches of pussy willows to arrive at Joyworks.
Pussy Willows are a classic first of spring, opening well before the crocuses and snowdrops. While we only have them for a few months, yours can last indefinitely if you simply drop them into a vase without water and allow them to dry.
They are getting harder to find in the wild but my brother is a good hunter and last week he delivered.

These pussy willow garlands are one of my favorite things for spring ...the possibilities are endless.

Little Bird

Today I had a crafty moment and made this little bird out of vintage fabric.

I'm looking forward to going back to the shop tomorrow and seeing all the new spring product that has arrived. I'm sure the nest needs fluffing...

Fashion is Fun!

We had a blast at the apparel show in Las Vegas. There are rows and rows of fun clothes and accessories...a shoppers dream. Since fashion is our passion we just get giddy looking at all the cuteness...

Amy looks adorable in this coat which we ordered for fall. We found lots of wonderful coats for spring and fall.

More great tops for spring...the peace symbol was one the main trends. We saw it everywhere from purses to shoes...

So many shoes to choose from in many colors and styles...

At the end of the show we discovered the sample sales...Amy, our little shop alcoholic, couldn't resist buying a few... :) I must confess I did buy a couple myself..

FLOWERS ARE POPPING UP ALL OVER

I have been noticing all the flowers around my yard trying to pop up out of the ground and it makes me so ready for all the spring flowers in their bright and cheerful colors.



Today at Joyworks we received a shipment of fun spring flowers in all sorts of colors. They go well with all the birds and nests we have.




They even look good in all the bowls in alot of fun colors.

Gone Shopping...

Mom, Amy, and I are flying to Las Vegas today for the apparel show. We are hoping to find cute clothing and accessories for the store. What happens in Vegas will be coming to our store soon... :)

Happy Valentine's Day

This morning I went to my Valentine craft drawer and discovered these cute plastic lace hearts and made a Valentine arrangement. I have quite a few of them and could have made so many things if I would have pulled them out earlier...well there's always next year..

A pretty new cardigan is just what you need to brighten up your wardrobe...or a great pair of fun cowboy rain boots.

A cute new coat always puts a spring in my step... or maybe a new bowl, flowers and hand towel to brighten up your kitchen.

I just love this new pink and brown satin ribbon and it looks adorable tied around the bunnies neck. Pink eggs look sweet in a nest for something different.

This butterfly wrapping paper has so many possibilities...
We are having fun adding these light bouquets to arrangements making them sparkle.

Yellow is such a happy color...a touch of yellow is a must.
I always love little fuzzy chicks.

We have these little retro buttons at the counter and they are one of my new favorites and make me smile.

The Shoe Fit!

My niece looked just like a princess in this beautiful blue dress for her first Winter Ball. It was great fun for me to be able to be there when she picked out her dress... I just love the tulle layer peeking out!
