Pumpkin Scarring!

In July we got a phone call from Bailey's Farm that the pumpkins were ready for pumpkin scarring. The pumpkin is scarred while growing when it is young by cutting into the flesh about a quarter on of inch with your design.
Today we received our pumpkins!
So cute!
Next year we will make more of them for sure.
If you would like to make your own next year you will have to visit Bailey's Farm in late June or July.
Visit the farm this autumn to check out the huge variety of orange and specialty pumpkins, along with other fall décor including corn stalks, straw bales and gourds.
