Every year when the days start to warm up I crave lemonade...

Flower Shoppe

In my travels I always love flower shops and flower markets.
I took this picture in Paris a few years ago. It's one of my favorites...

Today at Joyworks I made a little flower market display using a variety of glass and mercury vases.



At home I always make sure I have a nice supply of small vases in my cupboard. They come in handy when I need a little something to bring for a hostess gift or just to say thank you. I quickly add a pretty cutting from my garden and it's ready to go...so simple and sweet!

For the last few weeks the girls at Joyworks have been busy cleaning out their cupboards, painting furniture, collecting goodies, and crafting. We will have a booth full of Good Junk for you at the Snohomish Antique and Art Faire this Saturday. It looks like it will be a beautiful and fun day!

We are always looking for scrabble games for the letters.
Today I was going to throw away some of the game boards and thought maybe I could make something with them instead.
I simply glued some pretty paper to the board and instantly you have a cute backdrop. The possibilities are endless...
