Tie one on...

Love the ribbon we just go in!
 These ribbons measure up...

By just adding a bow to a vase or a pillow it can quickly change the look.

Joy Street

My friend gave me this S J ST sign and I added some stickers to make it into JOY Street for a window display.
It looks cute with all the vintage inspired houses...

Vintage Jewelry Tree

We needed a fun prop for a clothing window so today I made this 26" funky tree from vintage jewelry.  I purchased a metal tree for the base and hot glued on all the jewelry...I like it!  :)

Lantern Light

This lantern in extra cute but we also love the new battery operated candles.
These candles are awesome because they have a new flickering flame which moves back and forth which makes them look so real.

It's so real that it's tricking our customers...

Box Top

I love the cover of this box and also what's inside!
American Made--you don't see that very often these days...
At Joyworks we have a nice collection of Shiny Brites to use in our Christmas Displays.

So Sweet and Deer...

A big cupcake thank you to everybody who came to our
Joyworks Holiday Open House!
We were lucky to have cupcakes from NewYorkCupcakes.com delivered especially for the event!
I also wanted to share with you a paper mache deer I made for a Joyworks window.
I covered a light up yard art deer with music...It turned out pretty cute and I was so excited that some of the lights still worked and the deer glowed at night.

JOY in lights...

I've always wanted a large neon style JOY light for the store so I decided to make one out of cardboard...in person it's pretty cool... :)

Ball Jar Chandelier

I saw this cute chandelier and thought .... I can do that!

Mine won't be near as cute as the one above but I still think it will be fun for a store display.
I was so excited  tonight when I lit string soaked in polish remover wrapped around the bottom of the test jar on fire and the bottom came off...I watched how they did it on YouTube  :)
The jar is a little big so I plan on looking for smaller ones.  I'll paint the jars, chandelier, and crystals blue with Elmer's clear glue and food coloring -3 drops blue to and 1 drop green.  I decided to paint clear jars so I won't have to use good blue vintage ones.
It's still a work in progress...

Merry and Bright

A few years ago I saw this idea and always wanted to make one.
I purchased this large green window screen at a flea market and with vintage  glass ornaments we created this awesome tree!
It turned out so great and is a wonderful addition to our Christmas decor.
