Recently I heard that bird watching is the second largest hobby in the United States...it's no wonder that we all like birds so much. For fun put a ball of yarn in your yard and watch the birds come by and take some for their nests.
At the Atlanta Gift Market! We shopped and shopped for a week looking for great new things for the store. The word that I kept thinking of was "Fresh!" Something new, fun, clean, cheery, and bright. Inspiration... The market was very colorful... green, yellow, orange, pink, purple and turquoise. Stay tuned for more new trends...
As I watch the news and all the flooding around even in our little town of Snohomish, I am so blessed to be safe from all the rising waters as is Joyworks. I am so ready for spring especially when I noticed the other day tulips peeking up in my yard.
This week we received new freight and a variety of "Fleur de lis" were part of it. How appropriate that "fleur" means flower!!!
Mom and I are planning to fly to Atlanta tomorrow for the gift show. Our flight has already been rescheduled because of the snow and ice... The theme of the show this year is... *Inspire *Create *Succeed I always get so inspired at the shows and can't wait to come back and create new displays! I know we will succeed in finding many great things for the store...if we can just get there... :)
and make a cute heart banner for Valentine's Day. Another wonderful wrap from Cavallini. We decorated a fun new window...a craft table filled with all the goodies to make adorable Valentine's. (I'm sorry to say that the red phone, giant scissors, and typewriter are Joyworks props...)
