Shop Talk

I was inspired by this roll of paper I found at an estate sale the other day...my creative juices were flowing. The stiff paper was the right size to stamp with my vintage letters and it was aged nicely.

I've always wanted to have "Joyworks Shop Talk". The store is pretty big and it's hard to get around and talk to all the customers.
I thought it would be a nice personal touch to place signs around the store in displays with fun words and sayings.

So...I had lot's of fun stamping!



I can't wait to place them around the store tomorrow.

Who's got the buttons?

About 20 years ago my friend Cheri and I bought quite a few great vintage buttons to make jewelry with.

The other day we were at a flea market and saw some cute necklaces and earrings made out of buttons which reminded us of our button crafting days...
We talked about where the buttons ended up and Cheri thought she might have them in her basement.

She found them...Yeah!

It was so fun to see them again and I can't with to make something wonderful.
