Monkeying Around

Our Christmas Baby Window this year is full of Sock Monkeys.

I was so inspired, I thought I would try to make one. I searched on-line for sock monkey patterns and found quite a few for free...it looked pretty easy...
Well,I bought the wrong kind of socks,I don't have a sewing machine but...I made it work! :)

I even painted a little picture to help complete the window.

It's now hanging on the far right panel...
A little update:
I found this sock monkey pattern from 1953 at an estate sale today...

Pretty Sweet

Sweet garland I made with cupcake liners,tissue paper flowers,beads,pink tinsel and straws.

We also added a fun new hat to a large snowman I had made years ago...

This cute snowman ornament was our inspiration.
