Homestead
Built in 1869 in Snohomish for
John Harvey and family.
This is one of the first homes built in Snohomish...and it's still standing.
Location -Harvey Field-Snohomish, Wa.
On the Final Homestead Proof document, it states that before June of 1869, Mr.
Harvey made settlement on said land and built a two-story house of lumber, about
35 feet square with a shingle roof, tongue and groove dressed floor, 2 doors,
and “12 or 14” (as stated in the document) windows. A wood stove heated the
house. The document states that it was a “well furnished and a comfortable house
to live in.”

New Boat Owners...
Dean and I purchased kayaks a couple weeks ago and this weekend we took them out for their maiden voyage.
It was so nice to launch them right in front of the beach house and set out for our great adventure.
We had so much fun exploring the beautiful coastline!
I kept thinking that I need to find a waterproof kayak purse to hold my camera, phone, and lip gloss... :)
