A Faire Day

We were hoping for a beautiful sunny day for the street fair but we woke up to rain...
It wasn't what we hoped for but we set up our booth...put a bird on it...and called it good... :)

All in all it was a very fun day and for the most part the rain stayed away...

Last Minute Details...

Last night I remembered that I wanted to try to make some bowls out of doilies for the Faire...

I took a couple of small doilies and dipped them in fabric stiffener and them draped them over bowls covered in plastic.

When I woke up in the morning I had two cute bowls...very exciting!




I think I better stop crafting and get packing...
Tomorrow will be a long fun day!

Things that make me happy...

Birthday Parties...especially when they are for me... :)
A big thank you to all the Joywork gals for my "Happy" Birthday!!

The theme for my party was Pink,Ruffles,and Lace...
This bag that Kay decorated is so cute.

I love the pink roses that Sandi arranged in a vintage creamer...

Delicious Pink Donuts and Jill made the best white chocolate bread pudding with raspberry sauce which made me happy...so good!

Going to Flea Markets makes me happy...this weekend 2nd Saturdayz came to Snohomish. It was a wonderful show and it's always fun to visit with the vendors and my junking friends.


Great finds at Estate Sales make me giddy happy. Today I hit a good one and loaded up my car. I'll have some fun things for the street fair in Snohomish on May 21st.

These Beautiful Tulips from Amy make me and my kitchen happy!

A lovely hanging fushia from Dean on my front porch is a happy greeting.

Today I painted a few pictures for the upcoming
Snohomish Antique and Arts Show on May 21st.
I scanned them in and changed them to the antique setting...kind of fun!

Mom & Me

Every once in awhile Mother's Day and my Birthday fall on the same day...
Today we celebrated the day by working together at Joyworks.

My friend gave me this card today because it reminded her of me in my green kitchen always making something...
