| 60 miles in 3 days... Today was my first serious training day... :)  I know most of us have been touched by breast cancer in some way or another. In my case, it was my good friend Andy that was diagnosed in January 2008. The great news is that she just passed her 5 year cancer free mark. We thought of celebrating in Mexico or Palm Springs but in the end decided that we would show our gratitude by giving back to one of the causes that helped save her life. We'll be joining the Susan G. Komen 3-day walk in September. The walk is a total of 60 miles over those 3 days and while I know that's a pretty big challenge, it's nothing compared to overcoming a breast cancer diagnosis.
