Bleach it...
I have heard that you can bleach green bottle brush trees and turn them antique white. I found a large bag of trees in various sizes and decided to give it a try.
It works! Just be patient... they need to soak until you reach desired look(no longer than a few hours) and you need to use straight bleach...no diluting...
Rinse, dry and glitter if you wish.

I've collected bottle brush trees for a long time, I love them. My favorite this year was one from John n Bob's. A bleached kinda rusty little tree in an old jar with a rusty lid. Little snow on the bottom, perfectly simple and sweet ;) Thanks for having some great gifts for Lilli at your shop too.
