For years we have had a vintage wood wagon and rolling rack outside the front door of the shop.
Today we decided that it would be fun to bring them inside and put them in a window display. To get a farmhouse look I filled them with baskets,topiaries,pottery,and linens.

A Seattle Day

Today Dean and I went to the Pike Place Market in Seattle for lunch.
We pretended like we were on vacation in our own city since we are both feeling the itch to travel...

First we had a delicious cup of clam chowder...


Then for something sweet we shared a lemon and powdered sugar crepe...we ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture...

In true Seattle tradition it started to pour down rain so we ducked into a French Bakery for a latte and croissant...

I just had to buy these cute pastel meringue cookies!

It's hard to believe that we still weren't satisfied but we saw this lady eating a grilled cheese sandwich at the Beecher's cheese shop and decided we had to split one...
so so good!

A day at the market is not complete without looking at all the beautiful flowers...
